|
|
Hello (from Darren),
---
This is what is in the Downloads section :-
Theres some stuff from other people and a lot of my stuff.
---
Mostly, it's there, cause I created it once upon a time, and i thought well, it's best to backup somewhere else, you know...
Tell me what you think...
A lot of it was written with DOS 6.2 and Watcom C/C++ v9.5b
---
"Rails"
A prototype game, written using GDE v1.0 and GDE v2.0
It contains a coded solution to the "travelling salesman problem"...
---
"GDE v1.0"
A blindingly-fast DOS based interrupt and event-driven VESA 1.2 Graphical User Interface, called the "Game Development Engine"...
Pretty good stuff really, if you got the hardware.
---
"GDE v2.0"
An improved C++ VESA 2.0 version of the existing GDE v1.0, which was written in C mostly.
---
"BSP"
A 3d-landscape generator using 3D b-splines...
Written by me, it uses the GDE v1.0 or v2.0, i can't remember.
---
"LFBTEST"
A hand-typed, slightly modified VESA v1.2/2.0 Linear Frame Buffer test application.
You run this application on your hardware, and if this works, you got the right hardware to run all my stuff.
---
"TDirectDrawForm"
The prototype test engine for everything that the TDx_Library has become.
It's because I created the TDirectDrawForm, manually, that I learned how to do everything I do nowadays.
---
"TDx9_Stuff"
Just a whole bunch of source code for the prototype TDx9_Library, just to prove stuff exists.
---
"BCB_Code_Generator v1.62"
An example downloadable BCB_Code_Generator and databases, capable of generating the entire TDx_Library v1.62 from nothing.
---
Anyways, there will be more to download later.
Thanks,
- darren
