|

Hi,
I installed TDx_Library_v180 on BCB5, and it looks very impressive.
All packages and components seems fine, but when I try to
compile and run any application that use the library, I get an error about missing vcle.lib
I tried to recompile and install only the Draw library.
When I compile a test program the linker complains about unresolved DirectDrawCreateEx.
What to do?
Another issue, do you support Builder 2006 and 2007?
Please advise,
Chen

Here is a suggestion :-
When you begin creating a new project, find the example TDx_Library project that is the closest to what you need, and then use it's project files...
There are settings in BCB that interfere with the TDx_Library standard application, including whether or not BCB should link components at runtime or not.
Make sure that the components are not being linked at runtime, and the vcle.lib problem should go away.
If you have a problem with unresolved DirectDrawCreateEx(), then you need to add the line #pragma link "TDx_Draw_Library_Install" to your project somewhere...
As at this date, no i do not support BCB 2006 or BCB 2007.
I am currently working on v1.90, which supports BDS 2006 (Architect).
Hope this helps,
- darren
